Dr. Dawn Davis earned her PhD in Educational Psychology with a focus in Applied Behavior Analysis and Direct Instruction teaching methodology from Georgia State University, Department of Educational Psychology and Special Education, in fall, 2010. Dr. Davis is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst-Doctoral and is founder and president of New Day ABA Therapy, as well as New Day Learning and Behavior Strategies, Inc. (New Day LABS). She provides ABA therapy services and educational consulting services to a wide range of children, adolescents, and young adults.
Dr. Davis contracts with behavior therapists, teachers, student teachers, Speech/Language Pathologists, and Occupational Therapists within in her practice. For these professionals working with New Day ABA Therapy, Dr. Davis offers BCBA supervision hours, and specialty training in Direct Instruction teaching methodology and standardized assessments. She offers a full range of educational and therapy services to her clients who have developmental disabilities, learning disabilities, behavior/emotional disorders, and diagnoses such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, Pervasive Developmental Disorder, Down Syndrome, ADHD, and Oppositional Defiant Disorder. Clients are served in their homes, schools, and in the New Day LABS office in Cumming, Georgia.
